As a graduate joining our Generalist Management Programme, you’ll be located in our Amsterdam HQ. You’ll experience an exciting 2 year cross-functional rotational programme. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in areas such as Consumer Experience, Digital Marketing, Finance, Business Insights or HR. The different areas are part of the development plan of each candidate and are chosen based on both the candidate´s profile and interests and on the business opportunities available. This programme will provide you with the experience to build your 360 knowledge of the business, networks and future career opportunities.

You’ll need to have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We welcome candidates from all degree backgrounds. As long as you hold a degree education, there is no minimum scoring criteria to apply. This is because we’ve found no proven link between degree class and career success. Instead, we’ll use our own assessments to measure your potential and fit for Fontem Ventures. Our final decision will take into account how you do in other aspects of our selection process.

We know that the best learning happens when people are pushing themselves to find new ways of working and trying out things that have never been thought of before. So we have put in place a 70:20:10 model of learning, with the structures to make that happen. 70% of your learning will be on-the-job, 20% through others and 10% through formal training.

STEP 1 - Application

You will need to register your interest by submitting a short application here. We will be looking to understand why you want to work for us and what your motivations are for a career with Fontem.

STEP 2 - Skyrise City (Assessment)

Our game-based assessment can be completed on your smartphone, tablet or desktop device. You’ll be asked to complete 10 different tasks over a period of 25-40 minutes to understand your personality type and cultural fit for Fontem, alongside aptitude and cognitive abilities. After completing this assessment, you’ll receive an instant feedback report and learn if you’ve been successful in progressing to the next stage.

STEP 3 - Video Interview

Our video interview looks to understand more about you, your background, achievements, reasons for wanting to join Fontem and career aspirations. It will include four short questions, with the final question testing local language capability if required. You’ll be able to record and complete your interview anytime and anywhere. Again, this can be completed on your smartphone, tablet or desktop device. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection.

STEP 4 - Assessment Centre

Our one-day Assessment Centre is designed to show you at your best, with exercises developed to give us insight and showcase your potential. Are you able to work effectively with others, to lead and to adapt within our challenging industry? Above all, we look at how you will fit in to our way of working – do you understand and exemplify our values we find so important?

STEP 5 - Job Offer

As a successful candidate, you will receive an offer to join us via the route to which you applied. All that will be left for you to do is complete the paperwork to become part of an industry-leading organization, building a challenging and rewarding career with us.
