This team is responsible for managing multiple production sites around the world, delivering millions of products to over 10 markets. The person should be prepared to work in a fast paced environment and with multiple stakeholders across the business and in China.
You will be responsible for the batteries and electronics associated with Fontem’s new product introductions at the various factories.
The role will require an electrical engineering background with experience in high volume manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies (SMT technology), and dealing with suppliers in China. The person will be responsible for taking functional prototypes to DFM and mass production, as well as performing cost optimisation and Engineering documentation. Additionally, experience working with quality departments is required in order to generate protocols and qualification plans. You will be supporting a team of process, automation and mechanical engineers to deliver their projects through your expertise in electronic assemblies. You will have the opportunity to influence and work across multiple products and platforms, in close cooperation with the development team.
