The role

As the Brand Equity Manager you will be responsible for building and stewarding the blu brand as well as directing all efforts involved in the content and creative aspects of making the Blu brand come to life.

Reporting to the Head of Brand, and working in a highly effective brand management team, you will be one of the essential voices of the brand!
You will contract and direct other parties (internal/external) to ensure the brand’s voice, guidelines and all aspects of the brand ladder back up to clearly defined brand guidelines. Additionally, this position will direct creation of seasonal campaigns and various other executions of how the brand is represented across all mediums.

At the same time and whilst stepping through these outputs you will ensure that appropriate levels of sophisticated consumer research has been undertaken to provide the necessary intelligence and insight to inform the decisions taken by the brand in the markets within which is operates and considering which future markets it may wish to operate within.

Collaboration is key! You will have your hands in many different types of projects and be responsible for delivering results on-time in a very fast-paced environment.

Key accountabilities

  • Deliver against brand strategy (supporting development) and evolution of the brand, as well as seasonal campaigns
  • Be responsible for delivering global brand toolkits (from engagement to activation).
  • Together with the Product Development team you will establish the continuous development of our product strategy.
  • Partner with the local markets and Brand Territory Managers to ensure projects are being effectively executed locally.
  • Act as a champion of building excellent cross functional relationships across the markets.
  • Ensure the commercial success of the brand, implementing analysis and measures against key projects and objectives to ensure that we deliver against our Category growth drivers.
  • Direct fulfilment of all needs for creative and content marketing assets, including, but not limited to: digital banner ads, landing pages, blog posts, social media, CRM campaigns, printed collateral, signage, and more
  • Communicate performance metrics with stakeholders on analytics of creative performance
  • Develop evolution of brand guidelines as part of the brand equity management team and communicate to stakeholders to ensure on-brand executions
  • Partner with the marketing team on various other elements of fulfilling on overall marketing strategy and execution both globally and in markets.

Skills & experience

  • Strong in communication, and able to influence the direction and thinking of senior stakeholders.
  • Great creative asset development for brand assets in digital / video / print / web / CRM / collateral / signage and various other executions.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in global brand development, creative & content creation, and storytelling
  • Highly organized, have an immaculate attention to detail, and excellent eye for creative.
  • Managing relevant agency partners and their work on brands and business. This will be from selection of the right agencies/partners, to briefing & evaluation of work through to production and reward.
  • Collaboration with peers and team, and know-how of matrix businesses.
  • Overseeing development of an annual Creative and Content production plan
  • Directing schedule, track KPIs, direct creative fulfilment from vendors and optimize to performance
  • Owning a university or college degree with an emphasis in marketing, business and/or communications.
  • Word, Excel, Creative / Content design skillsets for various applications are a plus
