Our business is headquartered in Amsterdam with more than 200 employees working across head office and , Fontem US in Charlotte  with research labs in Liverpool, Hamburg and Beijing. 

The role

The HR Operations is advising on all HR related queries (local rules, benefits entitlements). Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices. Act as an intermediary between other business departments and the HR team, and will often act as the first point of contact for line managers and other middle managers throughout the company.

The HR Operations main responsibility will be to manage Workday processes and to generate the associated paperwork. 

Key accountabilities

HR Operations:

  • Daily coordination of the HR Operations by assigning the tasks and ensure accuracy on the delivery.
  • Act as the point of contact for hiring managers and employees for support.
  • Informing employees of their rights and entitlements and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made.
  • Work with our external party to handle VISA applications and 30% rulings.
  • Creating all kind of HR Administration i.e. employment agreements, staffing agreement, promotions.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
  • Improve cooperation with IT and IT delivery.
  • Responsible of day to day HR queries via HR Portal, e-mail.
  • Providing advice and playing a role in work reviews and change processes.
  • Supporting the HR manager / HRBP.
  • Maintain & update HR database and reporting, complete transactions in HR systems to maintain accurate and timely employee information.
  • Train managers in Workday and how to use SNOW.
  • Review, update and create Fontem templates.

Projects:

  •  The HR Operations will be also involved in ad-hoc projects

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor degree Human Resource Management
  • 3-5 years of HR experience
  • Good English skills, verbally and in writing
  • Good communication skills in general
  • Has a pro-active attitude
  • Likes working in a fast changing environment and be flexible in regards to that
  • Takes ownership
  • Is visible in the organization

Desirable 

  • International working experience
  • Used to working in multinational companies
  • Has experience with Workday
  • Has experience with a ticketing system (CMS: content management system)
  • Advanced Excel skills
